Here at Mini Athletics Chingford and Stratford, we are passionate about one thing - getting kids moving! We know that our children love to be active and we're here to provide a safe, nurturing and positive environment to introduce them to the fundamentals of athletic movement, while also having loads of fun!

Our sessions are friendly, fun and packed full of brilliant things that our smallest athletes - our walkers - all the way up to 7 year olds can love and learn from. We structure our classes to develop a wide range of young children's skills, including listening, counting, colour recognition, understanding instructions, sharing, using their imagination, supporting others, working as a team and competing.

Run by a mum who loves sport herself with her own Little Athlete at home, Mini Athletics Chingford and Stratford has a love of being active at it's core. We can't wait to meet and be inspired by our future Mini Athletes. So come and join us!

Are you joining for the first time?

If you’re new to Mini Athletics, your first course booking will require a one off joining fee which includes a Mini Athletics vest and a PB card.

Holy Family Catholic School is a 13 minutes walk away from Walthamstow Central Station and 6 minutes from Wood Street Station.

Entrance to the school is on Church lane, and the main hall can be found on the right hand side as you enter the school from the car park.

On site parking is available in the school at the Church Lane entrance.

Parking:
You can park on site at Leyton Sports Ground. If the car park is full, you can park your car on the slip road on the right hand side. However, please make sure not to block the road and be mindful to not drive on the grass.

Our classes are held in the main hall, which is situated in the new building.

The entrance is on the east side next to Well Street Common.

Classes are held in the main sports hall on the first floor. To access the sports hall just head straight up the stairs on the right hand side after you enter.

Parking
On street parking available just outside the venue - Parking restrictions are only in force Mon - Fri. However, please read signs if you head further west past the Academy or further south to the park as the parking restrictions change.

All our coaches share the same passion to enhance athleticism of children from an early age in a fun and engaging way. We all come from a diverse range of backgrounds, but we all have one thing in common - we love sport and we love being involved in providing fun activities for children. We realise that children learn and develop most through having fun and that is what we try to bring to every session!
