Welcome to Mini Athletics Norwich - launching in April 2026

At Mini Athletics Norwich, we believe every child deserves the chance to move, play and grow with confidence. Children are naturally full of energy and curiosity, and our mission is to channel that into a safe, supportive and exciting environment where they can discover the joy of movement and the foundations of athletic skills — all while having an amazing time.

Our sessions are welcoming, imaginative and designed to spark a love of being active. From our tiniest walkers to our enthusiastic 7‑year‑olds, every child is encouraged to explore, learn and shine. Each class is thoughtfully structured to build essential life skills such as listening, teamwork, sharing, following instructions, using their imagination and celebrating each other’s successes.

Led by a passionate coach with 2 mini athletes of her own Mini Athletics Norwich is rooted in a genuine love of sport and child development. We’re here to inspire the next generation, one joyful sprint, jump and giggle at a time.

Are you joining for the first time?

If you’re new to Mini Athletics, your first course booking will require a one off joining fee which includes a Mini Athletics vest and a PB card.

Parking is available within the school gates and it is a short walk to the sports hall entrance.

Entrance to the sports hall is via the side gate (there will be a Mini Athletics Sign up) and not via the school reception. The gate will be open and immediately on your left is the door to the sports hall which will be also be open.

Parking available in the park but there is a charge for this (£2 for up to 4 hours or you can pay for a season ticket which is a great option if you use the park regularly as it allows you to park for 4 hours every day). There are 2 car parks, the smaller car park (entrance opposite the Clare School) is nearest to where the sessions will be held but is often quite busy. The larger car park (entrance near Eaton Park Community Centre) is a short walk away but usually has lots of spaces available.

Sessions will be held on the field opposite the play area (unless there is an event on and we have to move, I will message/email if this is the case).

Our Team

Meet the Mini Athletics Norwich Team

Hi, I’m Sarah — mum to two energetic young girls who inspired this whole adventure. As a family, we’re always on the move, and I’ve always loved staying active myself through running, tennis and netball. Sport has been a huge part of my life, and I’ve seen first‑hand how much confidence, joy and resilience it can give children.

I’m also a trained paediatric nurse and have spent the last 20 years working on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Supporting babies and families through some of their most important moments has shaped who I am — patient, calm, nurturing and passionate about giving children the very best start.

When I was looking for an activity for my girls, I realised there was nothing quite like Mini Athletics in the Norwich area. So when the exciting opportunity came up to bring it here, it felt like the perfect fit. I can’t wait to meet the mini athletes of Norwich and share my love of sport, movement and play. Helping children get active from an early age is something I truly believe in, and I’m thrilled to be bringing these fun, confidence‑building sessions to our community.
