Meet the Mini Athletics SW London Team
We have a small but brilliant team of Coaches at Mini Athletics South West London.
All our coaches share a love of sport and a passion to get young children moving and learning key skills in a fun and engaging way. They are highly trained to deliver the Mini Athletics programme, and through appraisals and on-going support, we make sure each Coach delivers high quality classes for your children each week. All our Coaches hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate, Child Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications.
COACH HEATHER - Heather is the Owner of Mini Athletics SW London and a Physio. She is dedicated to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle for children, helping them develop multi-sport skills and the confidence to have a go. Sport has always been a significant part of her life, playing Hockey, Golf, Running and Gym sessions. She is the Lead Coach in our After-school clubs.
COACH CHRIS - Chris is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Dramatherapy. He is passionate about improving children's mental health, and believes Mini Athletics is the perfect space for children to learn key skills in a relaxed, free, playful environment. He enjoys Football, Tennis and the Theatre, and is our Lead Coach in Earlsfield.
COACH RHYANNA - Rhyanna has just completed her Law Degree and will be starting her Barrister training soon. She loves giving children a fun, positive first experience of sport, and seeing them leave with big smiles. She enjoys dancing, horse riding and her favourite athletics events are Pole Volt and Relays. She is our Lead Coach in Putney and After School Clubs.
ASSISTANT COACH JUNYUE - Junyue has a background in Sociology, and is currently pursuing a career in education. She has worked as a Nanny, Teaching Assistant and Private Tutor, and loves working with children to build their confidence through movement. She enjoys swimming, basketball and yoga and her favourite athletics event is the 100m Sprint. She is our Assistant Coach in After-School Clubs.
