We are looking to add an amazing new coach to our team. The roles would suit someone studying or involved in teaching, early years, childcare or sports. Or equally a sporty parent!
Mini Athletics is a unique type of sports class, we cater for children from walkers to 7 years old. Children are introduced to the basics of athletic movement, by learning key skills in running, jumping and throwing. The format is play-based, imaginative and incredibly fun and rewarding work, it’s a cross between coach and party entertainer!
The Lead Coach role is part-time, mainly weekend work (mornings), but with flexibility to add more hours during the week in our after-school clubs and birthday parties. We currently operate in Putney, Earlsfield and Streatham.
At present we are recruiting for:
• 2 hours of after school clubs on Mondays and Fridays in Streatham (SW16)
• Saturday Mornings in Earlsfield (SW18)
• Sunday Mornings in Putney (SW15)
The successful candidate will need:
• Boundless enthusiasm and energy and an expressive personality
• To be confident to work with or being solely in charge of young children
• Patient, outgoing and a can-do attitude
• To live in South-West London
• 100% reliable and have a genuine desire to offer young children a positive introduction to sport.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with our customers, and provide excellent customer service.
• Coaching or teaching experience is desirable, but not essential, you will be provided with full training.
• A UK driving licence and car to transport kit bags between venues.
• Enhanced DBS and First Aid is desirable, but not essential as we can help you obtain this.

• £15-20/h depending on experience and role with the opportunity for a performance bonus

• Flexible and part time role, but with security of a permanent position
