Mini Athletics Bristol

Welcome to Mini Athletics Bristol, launched in February 2023.

We believe Mini Athletics is a fantastic class for your child - full of imagination, running, jumping and throwing, your child will have an amazing time and burn all their energy! Themes for each week really bring the classes to life, from robots to super heroes, trains, dinosaurs and unicorns.

Every class will develop your child's social, physical and cognitive skills while they laugh, play and interact with their Amazineer Coach! We run classes on weekdays and weekends and sessions at Pre-Schools and Nurseries.

We also offer unique birthday parties with a theme of your choice for 2-7 year olds, please get in touch to find out more. Follow our news on Facebook and Instagram.

If you’re new to Mini Athletics, your first course booking will require a one off joining fee which includes a Mini Athletics vest and a PB card.

At the far end of the main car park turn left - signposted as ‘Overflow Carpark’. With the netball courts on your left, in the far left corner there is a gate which will lead you directly onto the lower grass pitch.

Parking available on site at Garnett Place. This is a separate entrance and car park to Downend School.

Walk in the main entrance at the Sports Centre. Classes in the sports hall, turn left in the foyer.

Drive in the main entrance and follow signs for Sports Centre.

Park in the main car park and walk towards the astroturf, turn right and follow the road to the end.

Look for the Mini Athletics sign and walk up the steps or accessible ramp on the right hand side to the blue gate. Walk past the netball courts to the entrance to the old sports hall.

Meet the Mini Athletics Bristol Team

My name is Hannah Shears, a sports enthusiast and Mum to two active girls, aged 3 and 5.

Mini Athletics is an exciting new venture for me. I worked previously in sports development and at National Governing Body UK Athletics, managing programmes and leading communications and media partnerships. This included working as Media Manager at the Beijing Paralympic Games and London Olympic Games.

I have always been passionate about working with young people and inspiring them to be active through sport. Athletics was a sport I really enjoyed at school, I competed for local club Yate & District AC through to University. Now I'm able to combine my love for sport with a rewarding job growing Mini Athletics Bristol.

We are looking for enthusiastic and engaging Coaches to join our team now, as we expand across new venues in Bristol!
