I'm Ryan, the driving force behind Mini Athletics in Cambridge and Saffron Walden.
Since taking over the franchise in September 2022, my goal has been simple: to introduce children to a world where movement, learning, and imagination come together through expertly designed athletics sessions.
Before that, I spent three years coaching locally before moving into SEND education – so I know just how powerful structured, active play can be for a child’s development.
At Mini Athletics, we run age-specific classes for children from walking up to 7 years old. These sessions are packed with energy, excitement and storytelling – all while building key athletic skills like running, jumping, and throwing.
But we don’t just focus on physical ability. Every session supports your child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through purposeful play, all delivered in a safe, supportive environment. And the best part? Children are learning every step of the way – they just think they’re having fun.
