Hi, I'm Hayley Jackson and I run Mini Athletics Cambridge and Saffron Walden. As a mum of two energetic children I know the importance of finding an activity that is engaging and stimulating that they enjoy. Mini Athletics is about bringing the community together in a fun environment, that allows children to develop new skills, make new friends and spend time with their families.

My background is in Education. Trained as a Secondary PE Teacher and a Primary PE Specialist, I know how important it is to engage children in sport from a young age. I want Mini Athletics to be the starting blocks of a child’s journey in sport, that enables them to develop not only their physical skills but improve their self-confidence, social skills and love for sport!

If you’re new to Mini Athletics, your first course booking will require a one off joining fee which includes your child’s Mini Kit.

There is plenty of parking on site. Please note sessions will be taking place on the grassed area behind the building. There will be no access to toilet facilities or the building during the sessions.

There is plenty of parking in the schools car park located behind the school building.

Mini Athletics takes place in the school hall. From the car park go through the black double gates and turn right. Follow the path to the main hall. You will not be able to enter the building through the main entrance.

In the Summer we will be on the school field if the weather is nice. From the car park go through the gates and follow the path straight around to the field.

The Mini Athletics Cambridge and Saffron Walden's coaches are from a wide range of backgrounds and have a vast amount of knowledge and experience in sport. They are all highly passionate about delivering fun and engaging sessions, in a safe and secure environment.

The coaches are friendly, enthusiastic and approachable and want your child's first experience of Mini Athletics to be positive. Our coaches love seeing the delight on your mini athletes face when they accomplish a new skill for the first time.

They are all looking forward to meeting you and your child and sharing their love of Mini Athletics with you!

Coaches all hold an enhanced DBS and safeguarding certificate.
