Mini Athletics is hiring lead coaches to join their team in Cambridge, Saffron Walden, and Ely! This is an incredible part-time opportunity for individuals who love working with kids and seek a rewarding job.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and engage participants with enthusiasm.

Take attendance during each class.

Inspire and motivate children during their Mini Athletics sessions.

Deliver fun and structured lessons using provided equipment and apparatus.

Handle any other necessary duties.

We are seeking:

Passionate individuals who love inspiring young children.

Confident, enthusiastic, reliable, and organized people.

Coaching qualification and experience preferred, but not required (full training provided).

A UK driving license and access to a car (preferred for transporting equipment).

Starting from September, we are recruiting for the position of Amazineer Sports Coach. Initially, classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays, but there's room to increase your working hours based on your preferences.

Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour.

Hi I'm Ryan and I'm the proud owner of Mini Athletics Cambridge and Saffron Walden!

I had taken over the franchise since September 2022 and cannot wait to introduce so many children to the fun and educational activities and games Mini Athletics put on!

I coached in Cambridge and Saffron Walden for 3 years previously before going into SEND Education.

We have specially designed classes for each age group ranging from walking - 7 Years of age!

Our classes are high energy and full of imaginative play. We focus on athletic movement, running, throwing & jumping, these are fundamental sporting skills for all children to learn. Every class will develop your child's social, physical and cognitive skills while they laugh, play and interact with their Amazineer Coach!

The best part of our classes is that children learn every week without realising due to how much fun they are having!

The Mini Athletics Cambridge and Saffron Walden's Amazineers are from a wide range of backgrounds and have a vast amount of knowledge, experience and passion in sport and working with children.

All Amazineers are friendly, enthusiastic and approachable aim for your child's first experience of Mini Athletics to be as amazing as possible! We love seeing the delight on your mini athletes face when they accomplish a new skill for the first time and the progression they will make throughout the time with us!

We are all looking forward to meeting you and your child and sharing their love of Mini Athletics with you!

Coaches all hold an enhanced DBS and safeguarding and a first aid certificate.
