Mini Athletics South East London

Welcome to Mini Athletics, South East London!!

Our classes take children's love of running around and burning energy and mixes that with imaginative and fun worlds, where the children end of learning to run, jump and throw without even realising.

Children go to the beach, into space and to the funfair. They become dinosaurs, pirates and unicorns and all the while, their jump legs are developing, their running arms are taking shape and their aiming arm is honing their throw.

Directions: The Parish Hall is on the corner of Dulwich Village and Gilkes Place which is just opposite Dulwich Hamlet Junior School. There will be a Mini Athletics Banner up to help you find it. Please enter the hall via the main doors which are accessed from Dulwich Village road.

Parking: There is free parking on all the surrounding streets. However, please allow some time to find a parking space as it isn't always possible to park close to the venue.

The school is located on the corner with Friern Road directly opposite Peckham Rye common. There is free on street parking on surrounding roads. We are located in the main sports hall on the first floor which can be accessed via the stairs and lift.

This is an After School Club for children who attended James Dixon Primary school in Reception or Year 1.

Our Team

Meet the South East London Team

We are very lucky to have a brilliant team of coaches at Mini Athletics SE London.

From a variety of backgrounds - athletes, teachers, parents, students - all our coaches are highly trained to deliver the Mini Athletics programme through educational and fun classes at the highest level. They all share a passion to get children moving and learning key skills, all whilst having fun!

All our coaches hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate and Child Safeguarding qualifications.

Coach Sam is the owner of Mini Athletics SE London. Sam is an experienced coach and is very passionate about getting children active from an early age and finding their love of sport. Sam was the winner of the Great British Franchisee Award 2023.

Making up the team are Coaches Laura, Nia, Shila, Storm, Izzy, Lauren and Samuel. You will see them at classes, parties, camps and all our events! They love doing "blast offs" with our athletes, sprinting to the race tape and high-fives!
