Hi, I’m Catherine Buckley and I run Mini Athletics South West Essex. I am a Mum to two very energetic boys and understand the importance of finding a class that they enjoy that is both stimulating and engaging (plus, if there is the added bonus of tiring them out, I’m even happier!). My oldest son LOVED taking part in a Mini Athletics class and when I realised there were franchising opportunities, I jumped at the chance.

Having previously worked as a Primary School Teacher for many years and having mainly worked in Key Stage 1, I have a very clear understanding of how important it is to engage children in sport from an early age. We provide a safe and nurturing environment to develop the physical, social and cognitive skills of children whilst having enormous amounts of fun!

Are you joining for the first time?

If you’re new to Mini Athletics, your first course booking will require a one off joining fee which includes a Mini Athletics vest and a PB card.

Parking at the hall is very limited but there is a paid car park behind the hall, Waitrose car park (two hours free if you shop in store) or the High Street Car Park (please not this car park is £7.20 before 9:30 but free after that.)

Please use the school car park for parking, if the car park is busy there is additional parking around the back.
We are placed in the Badminton courts, through the main entrance.

We are in the same venue as the soft play and TAGactive. If driving it is best to enter via Ingrave Road as the pavilion is next to this car park.
The space is inbetween the soft play and TAGactive which can be accessed by stairs or the lift. If the lift is out of action there is also access around the back of the pavilion.
